in response to a declaration of not feeling valued:

it's not that they don't value you, it's that they take advantage of your value"

if it were a movie, it would probably go:

it's not that the don't value you. They value you a lot. Their just taking advantage of your high value"

.... perhaps "abusing" instead of "taking advantage of"

if it were Samuel L. Jackson it'd go:

it's not that the m***********s don't value yo a$. They value yo a$. They just be taking advantage of the sh!t. Oh, your a$$ has high-a$$ value.

Well. some people would think it would sound like that. People like Quentin Tarantino.
