I am currently wondering how much the book Darktown Strutters (1996) has to do with the film Dark Strutters (1975) and how purposely each of them are meant to be minstrel shows.
When one of them is about performing minstrelsy, and one almost seems to a reverse-performance of American Blackface Minstrelsy.
