Tom Browne - Mr. Business

Tom Browne - Brighter Tomorrow

Tom Browne - Cruisin

press

Today I tested my max bench press for the first time in, well, a very long time.

I have been lifting weights and doing calisthenics and taking supplements.

I kind of don't feel as strong as with the supplements as I did without them...but I am wondering if that is just the feeling of having hit a plateau.

  I went 125lbs, 145, 160, 180, 190 and gave up at 200.

I felt like I could have done 180 for 3 reps

  Maybe 190 for three reps

and think I could have gotten 200 up if I were fresh...maybe had I chosen to strain...

(but I didn't want to...and the bench was a touch high for me, and I had my feet up on the end, so I didn't have the advantage of grounding)

If you're new to the gym/weights, I recommend getting some gym gloves or palm guards.

Lift what you can lift. Keep doing that until you can lift more,

but don't be afraid to ask for help.

   with the weight.
